The November deadline is fast approaching – and will lock some iPhones and Android phones off WhatsApp forever. Affected users will need to either update their software or buy a new phone. It's possible that your handset may be too old to update, so you'll need to get a new mobile anyway. More than 40 different smartphone models are expected to be affected. The deadline for the update is November 1, after which point WhatsApp will cease to work. Next top models For Android users, you'll need to be running Android 4.1 or later. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) delivered its verdict after hearing the club's appeal against the UEFA sanctions, issued in February for "serious breaches" of Financial Fair Play rules. CAS announced City were cleared of "disguising equity funds as sponsorship contributions". The club's fine for failing to cooperate with independent investigators has been slashed from €30 million to €10 million.
